im fine to have one more game under my belt (if Lebatron wont feel too boring to have me joining in everytime) ... subject to restoring my pc at home from the recent malfunction (the worst case scenario is to buy a new one [8D]).

i prefer taking RUS (long time no play RUS), but other sides are fine.

cheers,

Great guys, only 1 more. Veritech, any preference as to which nation your leaning to playing this game? Myself, I'm leaning Japan, but could change that if that does not work out.

I forgot to mention I'm using 1.201. Any problems on your end with that?

I'd love playing WAllies, but I haven't tried Franco's Alliance yet though. I have 1.201, all the rules are fine. It'll be interesting because I know a511 and you Leb are both real veterans. I'm pretty good too, beat Jan once, me as Allies.

Veritech do you want Germany? The rest of us have kind of picked already. Although that could change.

Germany- maybe Veritech
Japan- maybe Lebatron
Russia/China- maybe A511
WA's- maybe True Avatar47

TA47 once you get Franco v2.4 installed, familiarize yourself with the readme. If you got any questions my email is at the top of the readme.

Well we just need to wait for True Avatar47 to check back in.

As far as an AAR that sounds fine with me. I like to do them as long as the others wish to do so.

Ladder, I don't really want to. The last time I played a ladder game I didn't even get credit for the win as my opponent would not comfirm defeat. But that's not the only reason I'm not a big fan of the ladder. I'm here to just play for fun. Winning isn't everything to me, its how you play the game. If I was concerned where I sat on the ladder, I would just be playing the stock game all the time and selecting the Allies and metagaming to the extreme to maximize my win/loss ratio. But I can't play that way. It bothers me to much to take advantage of holes in the system. And most of them holes lie within the Allies domain to exploit. Two big ones are fixed by my houses rules. Anyway, if I can play the game and feel honest about it, then I'm having fun.

Hi guys,

If TA47 is not checking back please consider my offer to join in your game.

Never played Franco Alliance before and not much experience against non AI opponents but have been playing wargames since a bunch of years so not inexperienced to crush Germany and Japan to dust. (even tough prefer to play the Axis).

Thanks to let me know,

P.

Hi, sorry being late, I never received any email about the redo of the 1st turn, are you sure it was sent? I have the old 1st save but if the password isn't remember then there's no point resending that. Please send me the turn again, I'll do it right away.

What the heck are you talking about TA47? Old first turn??? How could it be to you already if I havn't even done my turn yet[:)] I'm Japan and your WA's. Unless you want to change everyone around? Look at my list above. Does it satisfy you/everyone. I know 3 out of 4 of us got our first pick, with Veritech jumping in to take Germany. So I doubt we'll need to change the assignments around.

Have you guys followed the 1.201 bug thread? Joel just posted that they found and possibly fixed one of the big bugs. So since this game hasn't really started yet(Veritech could just redo turn 1) I was thinking we should play with this new patch instead of 1.201. I could get a beta of it from Joel so we don't have to wait for the official release if that could take days. Once I get it, I could forward each of you a copy. How's that sound?

Hi Polonthi, looks like TA47 is in. Sorry maybe next time. Do yourself a favor and install Franco's Alliance anyway[:D] Then post for a match. I shouldn't be long before someone with good taste comes along[:)]
