Modding The Victory Conditions

Post by luftwaffe »

Sorry if this was already asked a hundred times but I was wondering if it would be possible to mod the victory conditions so that the Allies would still be able to get the automatic victory if they research the atomic bomb but make it so that the Axis would not get the economic victory. I just don't think its very realistic that the Allies would just give up if Germany and Japan had a production of 70, I mean I can't imagine the United States saying "Okay you win".

Maybe in a future patch there could be more ways to edit the end game options.

its not so much ' ok you win'

its more along the lines of the Allies suing for peace and accepting less than desirable conditions...

Had England or Moscow actually fell before the US was in full gear the US might have had a different opponent for the ensuing 'cold war'.

I see you're point, thinking about it I don't think the US would have needlessly thrown more troops in to die at that point as Germany would have been to strong to defeat in a timely manner.

So Luftwaffe, sounds like you became another victim of Tim, want to join my club...He has more moves than a cobra...He sleeps with his CD under his pillow...lol...In reallity alot of the American Industralists had a good working trade with Nazi Germany, and didn't want to upset it...The Irony of WW2 was, that it started to insure a free Polish state, and in the end, the Allies handed them to the Soviets...Also they (the Poles) lost more people per capitial than any other nation...Guess I'm getting off the subject.
