Solution to my CTD problem

I solved the problem by going to Device Manager and disabling my SoudBlaster Live! 5.1 card. Note that I already had the latest driver installed. Of course I don't get any sound with my sound card disabled, and I have to reboot every time I disable and enable it, but it will at least let me play the game.
