Sleeping forum? and Status Report?

Post by yngvef »

Hi

I'm a new user of the forum and have just recently bought Starshatter. I love the game so far, despite some initial frustration, but that's all been cleared up.

I notice that the forum is very slow, and there are no status reports on the development of the game or patches for it. Considering that this is version 5.0.1 now, I guess there have been quite a few patches and updates in previous times.

My questions are simple: Is the forum dead? Is the game dead?

I really hope not, as the game has an enormous potential. Some bugs are to be expected, but hey... I bought X3: Reunion and Silent Hunter 4 on release date... Bugs don't scare me anymore [:D]

Please.. answer me if there are anyone out there, so I don't feel like I'm talking to myself. What have you heard? What do you know? Has the developer (Milo is it?) said anything lately, and does he frequent this forum?

Let's keep the game alive people! [:)] (Always hopeful)

The arrival of a patch the day after I wrote this thread sort of answered my question. I'm glad to see the game still being patched [:)]

Gee... look at the desert. There is nobody here. There is nothing here. Ergo... this planet in uninhabited. [:-]

OK... back into the ship... we're going home.  [:D]

I fear my Starshatter dedicated site has drawn a bit of the activity away from here. [:(]

To be expected. Same thing happened when Mario was running his site as well.

@yngvef the only reason its at 5.0.2 now is becuase SS:TGS is v 5.0, being a newer version of the original starshatter

I fear my Starshatter dedicated site has drawn a bit of the activity away from here.

What site is that?
