Starfighter combat is nasty. You're in a small ship, with little armor, generally outnumbered and outgunned.

Sometimes, you find yourself impossibly surronded by enemy warships and fighters, with little chance of survival.

So you do the only thing you can. Place an enemy in your target, pull the trigger and move on.

I'm looking for everyones most interesting story of events like these. I'm curious in storys that end in both safe landings on a carrier, ending the mission in a safe zone, and even the tales where you go down in a hail of fire.
