Macross/Robotech mod

I took interest in this game becouse It looks like its just the right engine for a Macross / Robotech mod. I have had the models done for some time now, and have just bee trying them in different things, and looking for engines that would work well with the Anime. I have an SDF-1 that works in orbiter, a YF-19 that worked in Flight Simulator 2004 (untill I lost it to a format :( :( :( ) and I have alot of other models that have yet to find a place.

The problem is there is not enough info out there for me to get started. No tutorials or anything!

Don't forget StarShatterCentral.Com. You may have to seach the forums, but there is a ton of information in there.

It seems to me that you will need to work on three main components to import your ships into StarShatter. First, you will want to import your ship meshes. Second, you will need to define your ship properties. Finally, you will need to define your weapon properties. Not to mention sounds, music, voices, etc. All of these topics are covered in some capacity on StarShatterCentral.com.

Greetings All,

I just got the simulation. It looks great.

I was curious about modding a ship already in the game with a "special" emblem without actually having to create a NEW ship.

Could this be done by making graphical changes and giving a original ship a new name?

Aside from the example cruiser in the SDK, I don't think so because the other ships are in the DAT format that we are not supposed to open, so you can either stick with the Cruiser for playing with the specs, or alternatively build something new that is balanced with the stock ships.

We need to pool our efforts and get this baby rolling.

Got the Ikazuchi ported in game now. Just need to start adding all of the goodies to it.
