crash on mission start

i tried to use the disabling firewall fix as advised in another thread, as well as disabling the antialiasing as i am using an ati graphics card (x1650); to no avail.

after a fourth un/re-install- this time without patching- problem is the same ( crash during load screen for first mission) except that i actually got an error message this time.

five error logs to send.. just trying to supply all the info i can. eager to see the game work.

last one. from the looks of it, its the same phase of the load that fails each time, but different files that are failing to load. any and all help will be appreciated.

You might try reposting one of the logs (assuming that they are similar) at this location, possibly in the "Game Discussion" area:
