Runtime error at game start.

Okay, just bought and installed the game. When I try to run it, I get this:

Runtime Error!

Program F:Tri Synergy/UFO Extraterrestrials/UFO_ET.exe

This application has requested the Timetime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information..


I'm running all the proper specs, cd's in the drive and using Direct X 9.0. Any ideas?

try installing patch2.  when installing patch2 pay close attention to where it thinks your UFOET install is.  It usually gets it wrong and you need to tell it the correct location.

I have the same problem. Downloaded and installed the 2nd patch, didn't change a thing. Help?
