Post by mikan »

I've went thru the mothership. Cover every inch. Now at a throbbing thing with an eye. What do I have to do to reach the end of the game. I've tried shooting and lobbing grenades at the eye thingie but nothing happens. Please help me.........thanks a bunch

It does take awhile doesn't it? And then if you haven't killed off all the minions you have to watch out for them popping up at inopportune moments.

Kind of anti climactic actually, even the end screen was blah....what would have been nice is if when you shot at the eye for the first time, a secret door would open and some berzerker aliens flooded the room. So, as it stands, one trooper could easily dispatch the brain as it poses no attack ability... Overall, a good game but I do not see the replayability as much as the original, because the terrain is rather bland, and missions become too predictable. Perhaps I'll use more mod options next time.....

Now to await Guns of August!

Aye.

However, I kinda like to think since it does not show much, that my squad made it to an escape pod at the end [:)]

Not a chance. My guys were scattered all about the ship when my 3 troopers were blasting away at the eye...face it, they are Space Pizza! [:D]

I was fortunate enough to have bought InterGalactic Life Company policies on all of my troopers just before the final missions. Now I am playing golf in Ilyria, smoking fine cigars and enjoying the company of one of those blondes in the blue skirts. Just call your ILC representative today! (And don't start the Mother Ship missions until the first premium is paid!)
