The coins have been upgraded to not only show where the units are and be able to select them but they contain other information now that is easily identifiable at a glance.

If you like PCK you will really like PC 2.5.

Good Hunting.

Sounds like great features!

I'm a little worried that my non-intrusive overhead symbol mod that I use won't work well after this, though. I prefer them very small so that it doesn't detract from the pretty 3D bloodbath.

Hopefully they'll work fine, and if not, I bet you can fix them pretty easily. And if you have any trouble just post a msg of course. (if you have them handy, attach them to a post).

Thanks

I made an ugly but big and informative set for myself that I will share after release. You should be able to mod yours easily.

What if you could press and hold a key and remove the HUD and all the coins and rubberbands while watching the replay or taking a screenshot?

It would be okay but I don't know if I'd use it with zero interface playback. Much of the interface doesn't bother me - it's the artificial interface stuff mixed in on the 3D part that I prefer to be minimal. It kinda ruins the immersion when my units are all being followed by a hovering, brightly colored planetoid in WW2 or bright neon lights pop up around my guards infantry's feet like they're Michael Jackson dancing on light-switching tiles. [:D]

So I'll poke at it with a stick again after the patch and come pester you if I'm stumped. [8D]

You currently press the I key to turn them on, and you can also turn them off. That hasn't changed. Same with U for the rubberbands.
