In-scenario listing of medals & abilities for each specific unit.  Not a game breaker but it's nice to know where my crack units are & their capabilities.

Is this something different from the existing way of viewing them in the unit info screen?

Am I missing something? I've not seen any medals or specific abilities such as "Recon" or "Tank Ace" in the unit info screen.

You have to click on the little red "medal" marker (if the marker is red, the unit has medals/abilities) to show them, they then replace the other unit info.

Have a look at the Battle 10 AAR in the AAR sub-forum to see an example from FNG's elite Panzer IV platoon.

It doesn't show base unit attributes, which means "Sniper" or "Recon" - those don't change in any case and are assigned to the units you'd expect. But it shows everything else (earned medals and abilities).

I'm not greedy. I just wish for one thing above all else......A toggle switch to enlarge unit size like CM presently has. Ya just cant see the men your fighting with!

Any chance of this being incorporated into a forthcming patch Eric??

I take it from reading Mad Russians post infantry hasn't been worked on for the patch?

Also I see mention of game No3. This will be the one for me if the infantry side of things is less abstract.

His post is from 2008.

A lot has changed behind the scenes.

To update my original post, infantry has been worked on in the patch but it has not been completely redone. It's my understanding that the infantry will get full attention after the patch. But who knows? The patch will give you plenty to play with until other adjustments are made to the series.

Good Hunting.

You will be amazed at how much on this list has been put in the new version. Almost all of it.
