We definitely do plan to improve the campaign system further. Among the things we'd like to do is the ability to have branching campaigns that don't require a victory in order to proceed. However, I don't see many campaigns being able to continue after multiple losses.

Aw come on Erik. Campaigns were continued lots of time during the war after having shaky starts....they normally just continued under new management....[:D]

I agree that there needs to be some kind of a breakover point where you have been relieved of your command. You couldn't just keep on losing engagement after engagement and continue on with business as usual.

Good Hunting.

That's what I think. What do the rest of you think? [&:]

BTW ... yes ... I agree as well.

Something else I wanted to mentioned that I noticed when you have to repeat a battle .... Your units that receive medals for that lost battle is carried over into the repeat battle. I don't know if you lost a unit whether or not it carried over.

I spotted this in my Bussard random campaign .... Wittmann's tank was immobilized and lost it's main gun, and he abandoned the Stug. After the next turn the battle ended ... Wittman received the Wound Badge. The repeat battle started and he still had the Wound Badge.
