Neat little things -

Post by rickier65 »

I was lookingaround a battle field and noticed the piles of firewood, then I saw the stump with an ax sticking in. And I stumbled across the sewing machine - nice neat little things to have lying about.

And no, you can't have your pixel infantry knock up a new uniform with that sewing machine! [:)]

Hmmm, Erik how about.......... [:D]
Play the game for more than you can afford to lose... only then will you learn the game.

Rick,

Have you found any furniture or a radio?

I was thinking of making a desk, some chairs, and a radio ... maybe even a map table kinda thing ... for use in bombed out HQ rubble buildings. This might be a neat little project for me ... later on. The map table would have the mini-map bmp applied to it.

Nope, no furntirure or radio yet, but they may be around somewhere. I decided to devote yesterday to actually playing -

Finished the the First Batlle in the Mcensk Campaign - nice little battle. I need to do make some cheat cheets though to note just what the unit ID's mean. I know I have some units in the 35th Pz. Rgt. and I know I have some tank platoons, and infantry platoons, but so far I haven't been able to establish a mental tie to the unit nomenclature.

I think if I do that, the immersion factor will go way up. I even dug out Nafzigers Panzers Division OOB's to look up the unit - it should help with the Armor elements - but I ddin't find any infantry with the AR. designation.

But if you haven't played it yet - its a nice start to a campaign - I almost through in the towel after about 15-20 minutes (game time not real time). I won't spoil it for others by saying why - but I did end it with my task force chewed up pretty bad - but with a Decisive Victory.

And I've got some medals scattered around now.
