Would anyone tell be if this game is like PC-winter storm? I like to control my individual tanks and did not like winter storm because all you did was position your platoon and they did the shooting. I want to aim and fire. I imagine the answer is somewher in all these posts but it takes too long to read them all, although I will if I buy the game. Thank You

Actually, in both Winterstorm and Kharkov you can control your individual tanks. The base orders are at the platoon level, but if you issue your platoon HQ with "Engage" orders, then you can use the "Engage->Target" sub-order for the individual tanks to choose a target for each tank and even choose the weapon and ammo they use to engage that target.

In general, Kharkov is a pretty big improvement from Winterstorm, but your specific issue is actually addressed in both releases.
