Those are great, Mobius. Especially those wheels! [;)]

Hop skip and jump to Marder III M...

Thanks spellir. Now that we are going to higher poly models the first thing I wanted to invest the extra polys in is the wheels. I don't like blocky wheels.

Only 2 modeled. the Lorraine schlepper and the admittedly cool Marder II.

...The Marder III M was a mainstay of late war German tactics.

True, we had no SP IG. And now we have the premier [grille].

Three other SP IG's needed (out of four):
sIG 33 on Pz38H;
sIG 33 on PzI ('Bison' [buffalo] --with Tall super structure); and
Stu33IG PzIII with sIG 33 in solid looking super structure (root for the Brummbaars).
(The foruth SP IG is sIG 33 in a Pz II chassis: North Africa only.)

Marders still needed:
PzJg1 (PzI with um I forget... a little 45mm thing with slider with the gun).
(Also R35 with that gun on it was used).
Marder IID (No stock XML --I supplied).
Marder III (odd: looks smaller than blueprints in some photos).
Marder III H (P38 with a PaK for a hat).
Marder IIIM (which is just like your above but with a PaK 40 in there).

Spl's German Livery MOD zip has those all in xml (corrections to stock guns too).

(Also the Hotckiss and FCM (captured French) were ATG fitted and called Marder I schleppers like the Lorraine was. But West Front only I think.)

=======================
Other people really should learn how to model.

Don't let Mobius' super-professional results scare you off.

Somebody should read my Frgmotion tutorial here and start one.

If you have any problems ask me and I will literally walk you through it. (Hope I didn't just bite off more than I can chew there.) And then you'll know how to use model progs too.

I am doing the PzII D right now. That will be the chassis of the Marder IID.

Ryan did a PzI. It is either with EricR or needs to be converted from a 3dmax file type to Frgmotion .ugh and then out to '.x' file type. (What ever happened to Ryan? ...I ask for the nth time.) That will be the chassis for the PzJg I (and sIG33 I 'buffalo'). (Though one type of PzJg I had five road wheels.)

Mobius' Grille (Pz38M) becomes Marder III M

````````````````
Then we need to do Flakpanzer versions of those... (And some more AufPz [eg Pz38 with 222 'Hanglefette' turret].)
If anyone starts a project he should post a 'WIP' 'work in progress' post so others will not start the same work.
Mobius are you thinking of doing the Marder IIIM or the sIG33 buffalo?
Not right away. I'll wait for the patch to come out.
I wanted to do a sIG33 that was at Kursk but I didn't read the text of this model before I started it. It looked interesting and I had the wheels started from doing the Hetzer.
sIG 33 on PzI ('Bison' [buffalo] --with Tall super structure); and
I have the Nut's and Bolts book and may do it when France 1940 ever takes shape. Nut's and Bolts books are the best books I've found if you want to build accurate models.
Incidently they point to what may be an error in The Encyclopedia of German Tanks on this vehicle. The Encyclopedia says that the 150mm infantry gun and carriage without wheels was mounted, but N&B had photos of the entire 150mm infantry gun along with the carriage and wheels mounted.
With a gun carriage mounted in the SP this model would be a bear to do.
