the Two Questions

A brand new campaign-based 3D tactical engine covering combat in World War II, from the developers at Koios Works. The first operation covered is the famous "Wintergewitter" or Winter Storm, a desperate attempt by Hoth's 57th Panzer Korps to break through to the encircled 6th Armee at Stalingrad and the Soviet counter-attack by 2nd Guards Army that drove them back.

the Two Questions

Post by FMRommel »

I read the manual today at lunch but could not answer the following:

1. If you have one copy of the game, is there any way to pbem against someone in your own home? ( You really need a hotseat mode!)

2. During battle, I know that there is a display which tells the unit type and what it is currently doing, but is there anything that tells its number of hits/kills etc...?

Many thanks...

You can sort of hot seat it, but it requires actually leaving the game and starting it up. I know it's a pain, but it's functional. Just start a PBM game for both sides, then copy your outbox files to your inbox. Take turns like you would during PBM.

During battle, there's no interface to tell you number of kills. You get them on the end game screen.

I actually PBEMed myself without leaving the game by copying the outbound file into the inbox, then clicking on the multiplayer button.

Of course you still have to wait for the 3D engine to load afterwards.

OK. Sounds like a plan. Thanks.
