New Scenario for PZC

Post by yankee1950 »

Hi Everyone:

Here is a new scenario for PZC called Escape Across the Aksay. As the German commander you fight a delaying action. As the Soviet command you must continue the pursuit of the retreating 6th Panzer. It seems to play pretty good. Please give me some feedback. Just place the XML file into your Panzer Command Operation Winter Storm\Data\Scenarios folder.
The scenario should show up as "escape Across the Aksay".

Thanks to Laryngoscope for his outstanding PZC Editor.

Thanks for the battle. Did you test it PBEM or vs AI or both?

I won't be able to play this till the weekend. Hopefully you will have some other feedback by then.

I have sent a setup for PBEM to folke. I am Soviets.

I found that your unit placement for some units was too far apart. Place command did not allow me to move the CO and subs close enough together for my liking.

Your menu picks and points total really gave me a new angle on this series. Enough points, enough units, tough choices. I don't know if you did this on purpose but it forced me to think about the map, mission, and what kind of force I wanted to put together. Thanks for it.

Thanks for the feedback. I will adjust the unit spacing (still experimenting with that). I did spend alot of time selecting the units vs. buy ability to try and force some "thoughtful selection" based upon what the commander was charged to do - glad you picked up on that.

Thanks again for the feedback.

We finshed our PBEM. I, as Soviets, had a Marginal Victory. Mostly luck was on my side. Thanks for the battle.
