Its a whole new world for owners of BftB

Command Ops: Battles From The Bulge takes the highly acclaimed Airborne Assault engine back to the West Front for the crucial engagements during the Ardennes Offensive. Test your command skills in the fiery crucible of Airborne Assault’s “pausable continuous time” uber-realistic game engine. It's up to you to develop the strategy, issue the orders, set the pace, and try to win the laurels of victory in the cold, shadowy Ardennes.
Command Ops: Highway to the Reich brings us to the setting of one of the most epic and controversial battles of World War II: Operation Market-Garden, covering every major engagement along Hell’s Highway, from the surprise capture of Joe’s Bridge by the Irish Guards a week before the offensive to the final battles on “The Island” south of Arnhem.

Its a whole new world for owners of BftB

Post by Prince of Eckmühl »

I'll attach a JPG to this post. It depicts a formation that I built using the estab editor, the units of the 1st Special Service Force, or "Devil's Bde." An important weapon for the "Black Devils" was the "Johnson LMG" that the unit acquired in a trade with the USMC for some explosives. I created the M1941 with the weapon editor and then gave it to the rifle companies of the SSF. Obviously, none of this would have been possible with previous versions of the game that lacked the estab editor. BTW, I'm in the process of creating a "Commando pack" of force lists that I'll make available for download along with the estabs and graphics for new weapons.

Life is good. [8D]

Awesome! It looks like you are using the Red Devil color scheme, or is it a custom? I thought for a minute you were using the COTA Royal Marine colors.

Nah, while I was researching the unit, I came across a color plate of the shoulder patch. You can modify the colors in the estab editor.

This is why I decided to invest in this title.  Though I may sound a bit negative in the forums, I do see the potential for this to be a very long-lived and well played game on my hard drive.  I just hope it's possible for someone smarter than me to produce some good East Front scenarios.

East Front would be nice but some say it will never be complete without Russian doctine even if you have the units.

East Front requires operations at a larger scale.

Looks like a lots of people is trying to jump on the editor..
