New to Game.Units explained

Command Ops: Battles From The Bulge takes the highly acclaimed Airborne Assault engine back to the West Front for the crucial engagements during the Ardennes Offensive. Test your command skills in the fiery crucible of Airborne Assault’s “pausable continuous time” uber-realistic game engine. It's up to you to develop the strategy, issue the orders, set the pace, and try to win the laurels of victory in the cold, shadowy Ardennes.
Command Ops: Highway to the Reich brings us to the setting of one of the most epic and controversial battles of World War II: Operation Market-Garden, covering every major engagement along Hell’s Highway, from the surprise capture of Joe’s Bridge by the Irish Guards a week before the offensive to the final battles on “The Island” south of Arnhem.

New to Game.Units explained

I'm sure it's in the manual but I would appreciate an explanation of the different colors/symbols in top right corner square on the unit display. I think I've got the symbols but have forgotten what the white/pink indicates. Blame a failing memory and/or too much red wine - or both. Thanks.

Thanks Budd. Exactly what I needed. I see it's -6' in Tacoma. Here in Adelaide South Australia it's 31'c but after several days of mid 40's, 6'...minus or plus, is looking inviting. For a short while anyway.

While you're here another question. Are bridges that are blown depicted in a different way?

No. You get an explosion graphic on the bridge and an urgent message as they are blown - it's hard to miss the message (big red writing) as the game freezes for a few seconds whilst the terrain tables are re-calculated (to reflect the fact you can no longer cross), but it is sometimes difficult to spot which bridge has gone if you miss the explosion graphic, at least if you're playing a big scenario, where the whole map won't necessarily be in view and were you might be expecting about four bridges to blow at any minute(the big Meuse/Rhine scenario, for example). Then the only way to tell is by putting your mouse over the bridge you think it might have been, right-clicking and reading the movement values, which will be 0 if it's down. But sometimes it's also difficult to pinpoint the bridge exactly with your mouse pointer, because there is occasionally a discrepancy (very slight) between where the crossing is shown and where it actually is. I have (rarely) had to use the movement planning tool to find out where a road does actually cross a river, and if a bridge is blown where you have to do that to see the crossing before it's blown then you might have to fiddle for a bit to find it after it's down. Usually though it's ok.

We're a pretty temperate area so that's a bit cold for us, they say with wind chill it was -20 but it was sunny and beautiful to go along with it. didn't stop 700,000 + people from attending our NFL world champions Seattle Seahawks Celebration Rally/Parade in Seattle.

It must have been a long wait to see the 'Hawks' become champs. Was rooting for Peyton but what a great game from the Seattle 'D'. Enjoy the moment!

When on F1, if a unit is processing orders, the box is pink. If they're done thinking about it and are executing, then the box is white.

Blown crossings or crossing with no bridges or ferries will have an open symbol ) ( in the little white circle symbol for that crossing.

Didn't know and had never noticed that. Thanks, Fred.
