Pindos: Minor minor thingy - funny intel

Post by GoodGuy »

Ok this is really a minor thingy, I would just love to know if this is a known thingy or not, and if it's just me who is experiencing this:

Pls check the screenshot.....when I first played Pindos after COTA's release i noticed that 2 greek units' icons never disappeared, until the end of the scenario. Since the scenario wasn't on top of my fav list I only played it once, on both sides, and then I forgot about that incident.

I just played the scenario again today, and figured that these 2 units (or their intel reports) are at exactly the same position again....they are there for 4 days now, and I bet they'll be there 'til the end of the scenario [:D].

Any idea what's going on?

Yes this is a known byproduct of the intel system that is caused in the ScenMaker if you create an intel report for a unit that never activates in the scenario. Eg. You place D Coy 1st Bn on the map, select it and set its intel status to anything other than No Intel, then remove the unit from the map and ensure it is not in or subordinated to any other unit within any reinforcement schedule. Because it never activates it never gets updated.
