Hope This Game is Good

Post by Budge4 »

The reason i say "Hope this game is good" is because i downloaded the digital version of HTTR but i f**k*d up on the online store somehow and have paid twice for the digital download version (£52) [:(] i will now have 2 HTTR's and 2 serial nums, thats if i bother to download the second one. So if anyone knows someone that wants HTTR cheap let me know because i dont think i can get a refund. Maybe i should try e-bay [:)]

It is good.

But if you paid for both copies with the same credit card # you may be able to get a refund from Matrix or from your CC company, since I imagine there are procedures for duplicate transactions...

Contact Matrixgame support - you're not the first to whom this happens. IIRC Erik Rutins is the guy who took care of this last time someone had this problem.

oh, and HTTR isn't good - it's brilliant - even my dog is hooked on it.

Thanks Arjuna for bringing this to Erik's attention, dont know how it happened in the online store but if this is any help the two order numbers involved are - 98181404 (this is the one i downloaded and am using) 98181236 (this is the one i havent downloaded) I paid by switch and ended up with 2 confirmation e-mails with 2 different serial number. I ended up paying £51.68 instead of £25.84

Thanks for your help Budge

As wargamers, should we vote Labour for giving us new campaigns to one day play? [;)]

Hey Ray. I was just watching "Grumpy Old Men" as narrated by Geoffrey Palmer and they were interviewing "mature" guys about your age in England who were lambasting about the paucity of choice when it came to voting now days. Some of them sounded like they would relish the opportunity of taking a saber to the polling booth.[;)]

Dave
You can definitely put me in the Grumpy Old Men category and with regard to their comments in the GOM programs I agreed with them all!
What I’m grumpy about now is that some bloody Australian (Lynton Crosby ex Aussi Howard’s campaign manager) is now Limey Howard’s campaign manager and he’s brought all that’s bad in Australian and American political campaigning to this country.
It wasn’t like that when I was younger when everone was a jolly fine fellow*. In fact, not even nostalgia is what it used to be. [:'(]
Ray
* Excepting Australians, of course.

Budge,

Please e-mail us at support@matrixgames.com with your order numbers and this info so that we can deal with this with you directly via your e-mail account. Thanks. As long as the orders were placed in close proximity with each other time-wise, we can get you a quick refund on the duplicate order.

Raukman I've had HTTR for a while and just got FPG. FPG is fun and different being modern era. You'll find that HTTR is more complex and can have a lot of things happening at once. Some battles give you up to a corps to command. With HTTR I like the fact that you can micromanage your troops or give commands at battalion/regiment/division level. Also you have ground pounders in HTTR.

Both are great games so I hope you have enough free time.
