Day 4 09:33

I finally gave up getting the 107th to the objective, i give them a defend insitu order. with 2 1/2 hours left and them getting hit in both flanks just wasn't worth the cost. Funny thing is they attacked for way over 24 hours and thier fatigue never went up.

Final AAR

not sure that should add up to a decisive victory, 76pts, are the destroy enemy force pts. factored into that 76 total? I did own 4 out of 5 objectives. Another Funny thing, it shows 4 enemy units destroyed in the AAR screen but i counted 9 enemy crosses, the 3 units destroyed for my force is right,1 flak unit and 2 PZ coys, all on that damn HW.

Final Force Disposition

Just by the screenshot i should be glad the battle ended when it did, the 107th was gonna be in deep shit and otterloo woods objective looks like it would of been in trouble real soon. in hindsight the one thing i would of done differently is not send the 107th along the HW thru those damn trees, turn north at the trees and go up to heartbreak ridge and around and down the track[see arrow]. thought i could keep in contact and keep the paras from digging in, wrong. Other than that i'm pretty happy with my moves. Regarding the A.I. it made some good attacks, but it seems if it would of made life much, much harder for me if it would of concentrated its forces better, but i also don't know the timing of the reinforcements. I enjoyed the battle and hope to have time to get thru HTTR and move on to COTA. Any Feedback on presentation is welcome, i ain't all that sensitive about it[:'(] , but i do enjoy doing them.Enjoy.

Thx Akileez,
Game is great and the AAR's are real fun to do, time is the thing. I miss times gone by when i could get into a game and play, play, play. Sleep or play, sometimes you just gotta scratch that itch, besides i'll sleep when i'm dead[:D]. I already want to get on with the next battle and AAR. i know for me AAR's are a big selling point, they've put me over the top many times in my choice to get a game or not. Can't wait to finish HTTR and move on to COTA, really interested in the area, don't think i've ever done the Greek campaign at all.
