Well, i like Battletech, i was out to get a new stick for MW4:M, and there it sat on the shelfes. I read about it at UnderDogs and decided to give the commercial version a try.

I'm always on the lookout for good strategy games (and usually disappointed when I get a new one). Ran across a brief description of TOS when doing some searching (on Gamespot I believe) and it looked decent. I picked up a copy for $10 at EB games, which was a nice suprise since the box was labeled $30. It would have been worth the $30.

I spotted it in EB for $9.95, saw the mecha, and took a chance on it. Having been a BT player back in the late '80s and '90s (I can still field about a Regiment or two of lead), and previously having played Crescent Hawks' Inception, C.H.Revenge, the original DOS-based MW (and GEnie's online version of it), and the first couple of the newer MW series, plus both MC1&2, how could I pass this one up?

Give me a few weekends to get up to speed and I'll be ready to tangle with the veterans.

I saw it here at Matrix...

Likewise. I managed to find the freeware version, and liked it enough to buy the retail game on UK release.
