Something interesting for spotter titans: how about having a button for 'wait on - on lock' or something, a trigger for when a titan is actually *targeted* (not sighted) by an enemy titan? What's the point? When a spotter is hidden in woods and trying to get by unnoticed, the only way for you to know if you're hot or not is by the threat level indicator, but for that you have to be constantly polling the said titan's threat level - time consuming, boring and impractical.
It would work exactly like the threat level indicator, modified by ECM and EWF, with an error margin and all. It'd allow spotter units to wait to the last second (while spotting) before starting firing/whatever when they're spotted - VERY useful for ambushes.

If the Life Support of a titan (which among other things includes the jock's cooling vest) is damaged, the jock should take damage from excessive heat (every 5 or 10 secs?). How would this work with the healing capablity of the LS? Well, healing should probably only happen at temperatures below 50C (heat black), from there on only damage by heat would occur.
Something like:
LS damage heat jock damage
light 50+ none 75+ minor 100+ light 127+ medium 150+ heavy
medium 50+ minor 75+ light 100+ medium 127+ heavy 150+ severe
heavy 50+ light 75+ medium 100+ heavy 127+ severe 150+ DEAD
destroyed 50+ medium 75+ heavy 100+ severe 127+ DEAD

Oppinions?

im pretty sure that an accurate threat level indicator is based on EL warfare skill. What if the jock doesnt detect the enemy lock on?

The improvement that i want is a shot analysis so that you can tell why its so hard to hit the enemy.

What exactly do you think EWF means?!
If the jock doesn't detect the lock, then he doesn't detect it. Same as usual. What exactly is it you didn't understand? This would only allow you to sort of break move/attack so you don't have to be polling your own titan all the time.

You want a shot analysis? Get a better BC. Get a better jock. Fire when still. Fire when enemy is still. Scan active. That's your shot analysis. What are you expecting? 'You missed because your jock sucks at energy weapons' ??

Actually, they omitted the "Vet worship protocol" section from the manual.

Yep, it was right after the "Clown handling protocol" section, which was also deleted. I still have the sources though.
