Can't start a campign

I go to the Solitary mission prompt and never see any choice for satrting a campaign.?

any help?

You have to choose a team first, from one of your custom squads.
Then choose map, campaign maps. There should be a list of the 1st map for each of the campaigns. Choose the one you want. They're listed with their difficulty levels. Right click on the name will show you the briefing. Left click will choose. Start game. Kick their @$$.

The game does come with a pre-made squad. The vicious raiders. You can use them or you can create your own squad in the Headquarters. pg 7-10 of the manual walks you through the important steps.
