Game won't start

Hi guys

I played the game yesterday and now it won't start, quickstart or launcher, same result. I don't what could cause that. Do you have a fix?

I can add that this goes for both the recent beta and the legacy version. None of them will start the game. Session log attached.

Hey thanks for the report, we'll investigate.

Are you playing this on Steam? If so have you tried verifying the files and starting then?

Did you happen to notice if there were any CrashDumps generate in the Logs folder (same as SessionLog)? If not, could you please take a look in Windows Event Viewer and see if there are any Error entries for .NETRuntime that may have a stack trace. If you do find those, could you please upload them here?

Yes tried to verify files. It says two are missing, then restores them but the problem persist.

So weird that it worked yesterday and suddenly stopped. I NEED my DW2 fix ;)

So no fix for this? I tried re-installing but does help.

I installed it on my potato laptop and there it works fine. Stands to reason something happened to my gaming computer that changed something... Really can't tell what it could be as I didn't make any changes to it.

We're looking into it. Do you mind uploading a DxDiag report? That might help figure out what's going on one computer versus the other.

We've just released a new public beta, v1.1.6.0 that should contain a fix for your issue. Could you please give the latest public beta a try and let us know if it resolves your issue?

Thanks! We recently released a new public beta 1161. Could you please give that a try and let us know if you're still having the issue? If you're still encountering, please upload any SessionLog and Crashdump files you see from the logs folder.

I solved the problem by using the command lines:
--use-dxvk
