I started a game of Ikkuro with planetary events & race specific events both disabled but they got Hekretos plague event. I did check start conditions which remember the last game settings and sure enough planet events really is disabled.

The start conditions option row tool tip for planet events includes plagues, so I thought I should ask if this is working as intended? Because if plagues are a planet event and these are off surely there should not be plagues?

I have kept a save from soon after the Hekretos plague notification, which I can send or upload if it will help. Just need to know if this is my misunderstanding or something which needs fixing.

And please let defeated empires in game editor!!! Endless play possible.
Maybe we could also use this to delete defeated empires as a workaround.

Edit2:
Maybe I know the problem of still existing defeated empires. If an empire loose the last colony the we "discovered a new empire" event triggers because of a still existing ship or base of this empire. Hope that helps.
Not really fixed in 1.2.7.3. It is depended from game speed. At 1x there seems not to be a problem.
This time at gamespeed 1x beta 1.2.7.7 the Quameno returns to game without colony. They are not listed in game editor:
bug.7z Load savegae and wait a few minutes et voila Quameno reapears.

@boolybooly - we recently released v1.2.7.7 as an official update which has improvements in this area. Please start a new game and see if this new version resolves your issue.

Fixed in 1.2.7.9 apart from planetary defense center and because of that there are no planetary defense units.

Seems to be finally fixed in 1.2.7.9 atleast for 300 stars and gamespeed 1x.

Almost nothing fixed in latest beta 1.2.8.8 (except for target list). I didn't test it I read only the beta change log. Maybe you think that the reported bugs from are no bugs. But in my opinion they are bugs. I will not test the game anymore. And I can't believe that Elliot G is informed about the bugs. Bye
