Disabling partisans

Strategic Command: American Civil War gives you the opportunity to battle for the future of the United States in this grand strategy game. Command the Confederacy in a desperate struggle for independence, or lead the Union armies in a march on Richmond.

Disabling partisans

Post by Aspirin »

It is really cool that you can now disable the partisans with a single click when setting up your game (through "Decisions" in the Advanced Scripts).

I find partisans annoying rather than fun, so I always disabled them in previous games. However you had to turn each one off individually, so you had to click about 60 small boxes. A single click is a great improvement for those like me that prefer not to have them.

gr eat suggestion. partisans important in simulating say ww2 eastfront. but for csa not a real factor unless you count cavalry raids. and none on union side. have never read any mention of maryland or pa. resistance.

Oh good, I need to do this. Never like the “on map” partisans as opposed to the “bushwhacker” type effects where they do something but don’t occupy terrain.

I have uploaded a mod which disables on map partisans in the 1861 Blue and Gray campaign.
