Thanks very much for this. Confederates look to have received quite a big boost.

• Added DEs 125 (“Pass the Tithe Act?”)
It seems that it gives Confederacy 150 MPP a turn for one time -5k FS hit? Decision triggering April 1863. Nice.
and DE 126 (“Abandon Cotton Strategy?”)
Well, 1864/02/01 is waaay to late to change your mind about European intervention :P Strange one.
• Added several fortifications around New Orleans, Mobile and Wilmington
Note: fortifications as terrain improvement type, not forts.

Image
Not sure if this changes that much, needs a lot of garrisons (3?) still.

Image
Bit better here, but I think still needs a lot of garrisons (3?).

Image
This look very nice.
• Reduced MPPs from Montana, Idaho and Utah Territories following gold rush events to 25/turn each (was 50)
Sounds good, I wonder who might have suggested those 8-)

It seems that Garibaldi lost some experience, but still no-brainer to take. Always something, though.

Overall, looks like very big changes in 1863, and something even thrown earlier for CSA. With end date at December 65, still should be Union hammer after all, for equal players, but much delayed? I would consider shuffling victory cities and end date. Just guessing though, no way to tell now, need some long wars to check ;)

What does this mean? I kind of fail to see the difference, wonder if anything important.

I've got some games started on 1.01. Games are early, does 1.02 take over from here on out on those games?

Goto Mypage and sign in to your Matrix Account, there will be a Civil War Patch Download as a Zip there you can utilize instead of the updater. It's at the top of this screen...between community and help

Unfortunately, look at the new map and the old. I just had a unit spawn in with the old rules(it's got the old rules values)... The game under older version is the old game and not the new patched one. The Scripts are different(not just the map) so no bueno

That's when it happened historically :D

We'll see, 1.5 experience stars instead of 3 is going to drop him from the 'strategic god' he was being reported as to something more in line with other generals on the map. I'll keep watching this, there's certainly scope for further changes should they prove necessary.

That's just me fixing an error someone pointed out. All it means is the Emancipation DE will now fire correctly in those campaigns.

My understanding (though I have very limited PBEM experience so if I'm wrong do let me know!) is that games started under v1.01 will continue using the v1.01 rules, and only games started after v1.02 will use the new rules.

Just to add further clarification to the last part, coding changes go into effect right away, e.g. crash fixes etc., but campaign changes will not go into effect until you start a new game.
