Question about Aircraft requeriments

Rule the Waves III is a simulation of naval ship design and construction, fleet management and naval warfare from 1890 to 1970. and will place you in the role of 'Grand Admiral' of a navy from the time when steam and iron dominated warship design up to the missile age.

After playing the game several times up to 1970 I have a doubt.

When you request an aircraft design you can mark two times the same aircraft ability, for example Range + Range.

I`m wondering if this works, because I`m getting designs with less range than the previous one using this combination, and I`m suspecting that I`m doing something wrong (other that the ire of the RNG Gods!)

Its better to mark two times to obtain more range, or with one mark in principal is enough?

The only one I know for sure is, for Beta 1.00.32, using both slots to add 'Bomb Load' will result in Floatplanes being able to carry a torpedo.

Double-prioritizing the same aspect is supposed to emphasize it more than setting it just for the first priority, yes. Is the aircraft model that you're comparing to an upgraded version (B, C, D, etc model)? Sometimes a heavily upgraded aircraft will be better than a follow-up aircraft of the same type.
