How to see base cap requirement of a ship

Rule the Waves III is a simulation of naval ship design and construction, fleet management and naval warfare from 1890 to 1970. and will place you in the role of 'Grand Admiral' of a navy from the time when steam and iron dominated warship design up to the missile age.

How to see base cap requirement of a ship

Post by mrchuck »

Obviously I've missed this, but I couldn't find anything by searching the manual or in the FAQ:

How do you determine how much base cap a given ship will need? It's obviously not the blockade value, because DDs for example have 0 blockade value. Furthermore, the area overview says I'm using 332 BC at the moment, but my blockade value is 302.

So where is this magic piece of information? I figure this is something any self-respecting naval staff would have at their fingertips, but I don't see where it is in RTW.

Belay that. Found it after more clicking pretty much at random.
For those few that don't know, click on a region on the map, and open Ship Details. Base Load is there--not anywhere else as far as I can tell.

It might be nice to add this to the Ships in Service report...
