Tutorial woes

Doing tutorials and shift left clicking stack does not select all units. I have to shift left each unit separately. And when modifying units in Sop manager and clicking apply to all units of same type it doesnt change there initial orders !? Please help devs.

Let me see if I can help out with these issues.
Shift + Left Click allows you to select any number of units in your force. If you want all units of a formation, you can Alt+left click the HQ, and it and any subordinates will be highlighted. Great for formation orders. If you want a stack highlighted, select the top unit and hit CTRL+S to select all in the stack.

For the SOP Manager changes, ensure you set the Scope correctly before you set the SOPs. By default, the SOP changes are NEW orders. If you want to change the current order state, use the dropdown box and select the current order. Using the main menu SOP and the Set or Adjust SOP functions to do multiple units as they sit may be faster and easier.

Thanks Capn. I was just following the tutorial instructions which said to Shift click to select stack and Sop instructions said to click drop down instructions for unit instructions and apply to all units,then to change Scope. Maybe I misremember so sorry if I was wrong. Will try again following your instructions. Many thanks as always.
