good game?

Post by Jusepe131 »

Hello, I'm looking at the strategic command games and I see that this is the one that has the least movement from the community. I know it's newer, but shouldn't that be positive so that people are more interested?
For example, Europe is very old but it is more active than this one. Maybe the Pacific hasn't caught on well? Yes, it is true that naval combat has been discussed quite a bit in the strategic commanders and not for the better. But it is also based on naval... is that why this game is not as good as the previous ones? What future will this have?

I'm trying to play Pacific but I feel like it's more abandoned and seeing that, for example, Europe is much more active, also in development... I don't know what the rest think

For example, playing as an ally, the Japanese ships seem to always know where my ships are, and it destroys almost everything nabal. This is quite frustrating. On the other hand, the Japanese are very strong and destroy China very easily.

I love SC WitP. I agree that there are less players, but hope that changes, it is a great game.

The AI doesn't have an advantage over you in knowing where your ships are, unless you are playing with the option for it to have a slightly longer spotting difference.

Otherwise everything is equal, though the AI does have some scripts to patrol areas that we have thought likely to need patrolling, so sometimes their forces will be in the right area just when you would rather they were somewhere else entirely.

I just bought it two days ago, and so far, I'm really enjoying it. WiTP was tad too much for me, but this is the perfect balance.
After 16 years, Civ II still has me in it's clutches LOL!!!
Now CIV IV has me in it's evil clutches!
