I played the original ages ago but didn't realize the series was still going until I stumbled upon this game.

Does it have a tutorial?

No. It's the first in the series that doesn't. But if you've played Strategic Command before it's not that hard to pick up.

The scenarios seem to be tutorials since each tends to concentrate on one or two aspects.

For example, Iwo Jima is just the ground units, basically.
