Advice in case the game does not start properly

There have been a small number of reports of this immediately after installing the game, so as a pre-emptive move I thought I would post this here:

If anyone does have an issue where the game cannot launch properly, or that it does but no campaigns are visible to play:

1) Whitelist the game with your Anti Virus software. The game writes to a settings file in the 'My Documents' folder and loads some campaigns and saves game files to this folder as well. Some Anti Virus software is set to protect the 'My Documents' folder, and this may interfere with the normal function of the game.

2) If it is not due to a third party Anti Virus software, the cause may well be Microsoft Defender (built in Windows Anti Virus software), and it may be worth referring to Microsoft's own help page here as the solution offered by Microsoft for another game with a similar issue, is probably the solution here too:
