Thanks. I've tried to replicate this with the latest version and the good news is that I can't repeat it, so hopefully it was a one-off. [:)]

Do you have a version later than 1.09 ? because it happens in 1.09.

1. Open the 1939 Campaign
2. Go to the Purchase Units screen, for Germany
3. Select the Battle Cruiser category [it is in red]
4. The Name will be blank, type in a name
5. Now select the Naval Weaponry Upgrade, and the name will be erased

If you change an existing name, then hit the Upgrade button, the name will revert to the original.

Ah, I see, I didn't realise you were typing a new name in there. Yes, it's still happening.

As I wrote in another post and i guess the team will make some changes about visibility on map, level of zooming, troops's icons more sharp, etc.. can i ask if you can elaborate different icons for every level of research on every troop? For ex. for fighters different icons for Bf, FW, Me 262...new step equals new and different icon, some of them are exactly the same or small diferences, you can recognize the level only by the number displayed, not the icon. The same for tanks, artilery (Hummels?), infantery. The AT guns i saw it has different icon, now i'm on Stug. Another ideea, if it can be implemented, i'd like to see different clases included, like AT gren's, recon units (the only recon unit i saw was the Afrika Korps one). Don't blame me guys, but even this is a brillant game of strategic level, i'm still a guy that likes to play with 'Tin Soldiers', so i'd like to see a graphic level that equals the level of complexity of this game. Thanks and good work.

I know you are not asking me, and I have no idea what the plans are, but currently there is only one counter sheet for each major, and one for each sides minors, so the possibilities for varying icons are very limited.

I would suggest a small change in the unit properties screen, when the AI is given advantage it does show for the experience but it doesn't for spotting.

Please can you make it so it also appears for spotting.

First time beta tester and barely had time to get thru the beginning of the France invasion...life and stuff so I'm sure this has been brought up but heres my report

Zoom is a bit janky...could use some flow.
No play thru tutorial
Detailed loss graph extended
Research info? What does it improve/how much? not well explained
Naval areas? Send to hex and then raid how far an area?

research cheat window? right click a topic for info possible
less subtle winter graphics
better explanation how to get MMP

1.10 Research Window - As player hovers and moves the pointer over the research categories, SOMETIMES the whole Research window repaints. It's quite annoying visually.

Hello,

I just downloaded the new version (.10) and played a savegame from the old version. No problems accessing the previously saved games.

but where did the MAX button go in the reinforce screen?
In the old version there was this button with which I could reinforce a unit up to its max limit with only one click. Now I have to click for every single step reinforcement.

I'd like to have the MAX button back.

Greetings

It's not just you. The MAX button is gone.

The MAX button was a really nice feature. I hope this is a bug and not a design decision.

On the new interface - wow I am LOVING nearly all of it. In particular:

* War map % diplomacy - AWESOME! Wow is that a nice visualization feature.
* This isn't new to 1.10 but I love the fact in Barbarossa we can adjust the % of income sent over trade-routes to Russia in the Convoy Map. Very slick.
* I LOVE the blue windows. The contrast is excellent and compliments the other windows perfectly. You've nailed the design aesthetic.
* Research screens are gorgeous.

Overall - fantastic. I would not change anything.

Concerns/Requests

* Max button would be nice.

* Is the extra zoom-in feature still coming? So we can see units and the battle-lines a little closer? I desperately want this. Just 20%-30% closer to the action for that 4th level zoom.

* I'd really like to see a "lock" or "ironman" option where if we select that we cannot load up the interface and switch FOW off for a quick cheaty glance at enemy locations.

* I'd still like a graph that shows diplomacy slant over time. It's not needed, but it would be a nerdtastic thing to see each country as they edge closer and closer to the Allies or Axis side, or the tug of war up and down.

On new 1.10 like new UI, the glow under 3D troops, dark rectangles under makes them more visible on map. I'd like to see in the reinforce window a button to reinforce to max with only 1 click as in previous version (is handy). I like the new colours on research tabs, etc...No errors of any kind, previous save works fine, but there's a bug when i'd level up my bombers. I researched only level 3, but i was able to go on infinite level...only MP was the limit. After pressed end turn button, the icons changed to level 3 as it should. Here screen shoots...

@corneliul - Bet you thought you were getting an A-10 warthog upgrade in your game LOL. [:D]

I hope the AI isn't going to waste its money trying to do this in my current game. [:(]

When you click to change border styles it creates a weird graphic artifacting effect with the "Choose Sides" icons.

Is there no way to make a new save game? I can over-write my old saves but there is no way to create a new save in 1.10 (can't input new text either). If I missed notes on this sorry.

In the Baltic areas including Scandinavia, when it's raining the hex information is saying "clear". In this rest of the world, where it's storming, the information overlay is showing proper information.

We need a Cancel button. For instance I was in the load game screen and decided I wanted to do something different. But there is no way to go "back" - you're forced to load the game.
