Xargun and I have run at least 6 turns with the updated exe ( no map or scenario changes ) with no problems noted. Having to use the keyboard for answering the disband question is bit of a pain, but not game breaking by any means. This was an update to an existing game.

Scenario 003, "Dec 8th Start" seems to be actually starting on Dec 7th, I cannot see what's the difference with scen 001?

While doing some late war testing with the downfall senario, I found some unexpected behavior when the Ohka has not arrived.

Before the arrival date of the Ohka 22, the P1Y3 Frances is not flying attack missions (I mainly tried port and airfield attack). They were flying recon and naval search (confirmed by pilot mission numbers). After the arrival of the Ohka 22 (by changing the date in the editor), the P1Y3 Frances would fly port and airfield attack with 4 x 250 kg bombs.

The same behavior could be observed with the G4M2e Betty and Ohka 11 it carries when changing the arrival date of the Ohka 11.

I have not done much testing on it, but it seems to be reproducible in an older version.

What surprises me is that these planes can not even use the load of 250 kg bombs unless the Ohka it could carry has arrived.

A map railroad situation.

From Fort Sandeman, travel by rail is allowed to Quetta. I did not check the other way. But from Quetta, one can't rail to Jacobabad or past that. Oh what fun.

But rails, do we really need rails for the trains? I wonder . . .

There is a line of red hex sides all across the extended portion of India. It appears that they did not get changed. Fort Sandeman is above that line so units can rail to Quetta.

When a unit is going to march away from Quetta to Jacobabad, instead of going on the yellow road to the SW through the mountain hex, it is moving to the WEST.

Holy crap, I was not expecting a fully new map. Have the scenarios generally been made to work with the new map? Have there been wholesale database/scenario changes aside from the map not mentioned in the change log as well?
Thanks for the continued development.

I am not sure why that is the case. Anyway I have corrected that as well. Here is the (yet again) updated pwhexe file. Please let me know how it goes.

The new map works with the new scenarios. If you loaded the new map then you should have the updated scenarios....GP

Cool. I wonder if that was inspired from Gary Grigsby's War in the East/West where pilots routinely get wounded (and planes get trashed) during training flights.

I think that if true it would be a nice addition to break-up the ho hum results with pilot training. Wrecks and injuries/fatalities were a regular issue during the war, so it would be a welcome change IMO.

It should also be reported that air groups on training will have some of their aircraft show up as damaged, again part of the new patch and expected.
There may be some destroyed but it is hard to know for sure at this time, I will have to be more vigilant.

Noticing some basic typos in the new manual. Mainly with following annoyances that serve no known purpose.

I am pretty sure it is not a typo but rather an acronym for section.

And you can not change the withdrawal option after starting an AI game either. Option is grayed out.

Does anyone know where I can find a detailed and precise list of all map changes in this patch? My friend Skacee wants to update his Rich Info map mod but it would help if I could provide him with precise changes to the map so he can account for them.

Thanks!
