Fremen,on the preferences window in the game is possibility "Add 1.60 database changes ..." like it was in the WitP older started games ... How it affects WitM game ???

The WITM database is all new and very different than WITP.
I think (keep in mind this is a mod make by some modders not programers) select this option not affect the game.
HOWEVER, because i don't know the "Add 1.60 database changes" do really, it's possible that funtion changes again the OOB to WITP engine. In this case the mod will be surely destroyed.

qgaliana,

Could you post a screen shot of the folder in question?

qgaliana,

Could you post a screen shot of the folder in question?

Sadly, in the intervening time I actually had to go work (BOO HISS). More debugging this eve - thanks tanjman.

Working now, I had to redo my second WITP installation for some reason - very pretty looking so far[&o]

I like this a lot - Fremen are you looking for help updating leaders, pilots, etc? I am no expert but I can do some online legwork and tedious data entry to at least get some reasonable names or modified values in. You can PM me if you prefer.

I have now two friends working on pilots database, thanks anyway.
However, i don't have any person working on leaders, may be you can help us.
Main focus would be italian leaders to navy and german/italian leaders to land units.

Don't know what happened to my last (and extensive) post..

To say it faster, fremen, do you have a file format I can use to provide you names of pilots and leaders ?

Place where I can help (at first thought):
_ French units and pilots (they should be there, at least after Nov 1942...)
_ German fighter pilots (having scored at least a victory)
_ US fighter pilots (having scored at least a victory)
_ everything related to Malta
_ Italian sub captains
_ U-Boote captains
_ Beaufighter and Beaufort anti-shipping units

Every help is welcome Amiral! Thanks.
The U-Boote kaleun are in the mod. Every german submarine have the correct captain in the historical date. Of course, if the player decide change the commander of a sub, the captain pool is japanese.
Would be great you can send me a list of italian sub captains and US Fighter pilots, then i will add to mod.
A list of french air units (in allied side of course) is also needed.

i see one thing needed changing
many units are 100+ or 200+ or even 300+ against TOE
i don't remeber exactly but one of armoured units was 190/300 against toe
it means toe needs revision
such units will never get any replacement

check it
it may be 15-20% of units that face such problem

If you need more info on aircraft armament -- especially the Italian guns -- I highly recommend the "Fighter Gun Debate" website at:

http://www.geocities.com/capecanaveral/ ... un-pe.html

An amazing amount of detail. There is also a list of the armaments of many models of WWII fighters on another web page.
Civil war? What does that mean? Is there any foreign war? Isn't every war fought between men, between brothers?

Thanks Sneer. Get the problem and you right.
Fortunately are only a few axis units. The problem when you work in a mod during months and months....always forget check something.

Will be corrected in 1.2
