Dang it, does the Geneva convention say prisoners must have spagetti? *Grumble* well no more than once per week [:)].

Only the Italians. Germans get sauerkraut.

Lol. I think though withholding the meatballs is OK.[8|]

@MM
For the UK only, could you please add up all the shipyards values(CV - 25,escorts - 1, etc) in the build queue and subtract them from the the number of shipyards you have and see if the numbers line up with your stockpile. I think kennonlightfoot found a bug.

Thanks MM:
Maybe I'm crazy but it looks like you are way off.
You only have 65 shipyards, you are using 125 of them at the moment with 54 more available for use. In essence you have 179 shipyards in Jan 42. Lol. I think your shipyard is Mafioso. [;)]

Yes you might be right. How odd. For every other country it seems to work. The US for example and Germany.

But UK have a lot more shipyards than 65 right? So that number seems off. 54 might be I built One mm one escort this turn that would be 65-11=54 so that seems to be working at least [:)]. With all the sinkings I whip the workcrews to work tripple shifts :)

We can skip forward a bit. Not super much going on. In Africa there has been a setback. Was too slow around Tobruk. The Italaian invasion made my units very tired and meanwhile a German arm corps arrived. So I have lost one canadian corps and soon a British as well. Well played!

In the Atlantic I was for a while under 100 merchants. Now last 2 turns taken lots of damage but inflicted 14 sub losses so for the moment at least only 1 subgroup out on my convoylines.

UK only has 65. Something odd is going on with shipyards in ver 9. Unless there is a game mechanism I am not aware of the Stockpile plus the shipyard cost of units in queue should equal the Shipyard number of 65.

It's an issue that effects 0.081 also. When you capture Netherlands and don't sink their fleet, when you deploy the patrol group, 15 is added to the stockpile. So in the game above, France surrendered, so all those ships when deployed added to the shipyard stockpile total.

[8|]If only you had the production points to take advantage of it cause I know a guy who knows a guy.[:-] Thanks MM for those numbers. Looks like sub: escort sink ration is about 2: 1.

No problem [:)] .

BoA going so badly 1-2 escorts down and 12 merchants every turn. All UK do is try to replace it at least USA can build some troops but yeah looking dark. And it is only 9 subs out at any time not a huge investment by any means.

I think with some Italian sub losses it is about 3 subfactors repaired in on turn for about 20 pps for 1 escort buildtime 7 months and cost 40pps. Cant help it feels something is off here. But it is only 1 game maybe it is an outlier somehow.
And as you said without the increased UK shipyards the UK would have ran out of merchants and escorts a long time ago.

Situation in Africa where some US troops arrived to try and shore up the situation.

And look at those lovely merchant and escort losses. It hurts [:)]

Bad weather so not much going on in the east.

I look at forces and feel fairly certain that the Soviets can survive this summer. 2500 vs 1400 feels ok for sure but I think German strength will shoot up soon as I guess he is rebuilding some of the mech units lost earlier but we will see.

Cold weather in southern Russia and the Germans strike and capture Rostov. I thought I had a decent defense but not good enough. I send down as much reserves as I can.

And in Africa the Germans leave probably to join the attack in the east. But something went wrong with the orders sent to the Italian commander and Tobruk was left unoccupied so in a reversal of fortunes again in Africa a British corps invade and take Tobruk. I think it should hold against the counterattack.

Nope it did not hold. And A British coprs surrendered in Tobruk. This Africa campaign is very fun back and forth like the real war. The not so fun thing I find it really hard to make any progress.

At least the US navy charge into Tobruk harbour and sink a Italian BB.

In the east I dont retreat. I have only seen like 8 mech units so I think I might have to back off a bit eventually but not yet. I managed to liberate a surrounded army near Kursk almost shattering a German mech corps but it got away.

In the north the Finns advance a bit and I have been not vigilant enough there and lack a couple of units on this front.

German army has grown quite a bit but Soviet army size at least for the moment on a comfortable level.

In the south I shatter a mech corps. A German invasion of the caucasus will stretch my reserves thin. And finally I had a lousy 20% xp corps holding the supply line for a couple of units. It retreated of course so now 2 units will be lost north of the Crimea. Clumsily I also used both airtransport to help them but they got shot down of course [:)].
