I suppose that ncc1701e says it because of the game we are playing, ncc1701e is attacking like crazy in 41 with very high losses from the Russian army, this plus the loss of cities greatly resents the MP. Surely the experience of the Russian units has increased a lot, but if the MP is low, nothing is achieved.

Keeping MP above 50% is key. The tactic of not reinforcing or updating the Russian units with 20 experience that many of us do, or used to do, I don't know if it's a good idea, since there are many losses, which lower the MP. It is better to dismantle some units and reinforce others. It's also not a good idea to build up a lot of production to buy a bunch of armies right at the turn of the invasion, as MP drops tremendously.

I am speaking of my game with aoffen end of April 1942. I think that as soon as Moscow is lost, manpower is an issue.
In our game, we are around October 1941 but I will also check my manpower.

I don't know. Right now, with all the overruns, you are obliged to buy plenty of new units. Perhaps in the next patch, this will be ok.

Yes, if you lose Moscow the MP also suffers.

So, in our game, I still have Moscow, Tula, Kalinin. We are October 10, 1941.

I am receiving 36 MP per turn. Just enough to buy an infantry army per turn. My stockpile is at 878 MP meaning 62% despite all my bloody counter attacks.

Moscow is having 25 PP. What does it mean in terms of manpower per turn?

No idea how many you actually lose...I would venture to guess it is only 1 or 2 per turn...though for Moscow possibly 5.

No idea what I am doing anyway. Don't know if I should upgrade the infantry corps or not. Don't know if I should save PP to buy armies or not.
USSR is complicated.

I only upgrade when my MP is getting low...you need defense troops...always at least until the lines solidify.

Upgrading few tanks is enough. [8D][:D]
