Rota falls.
Note in this mod Japanese ASW is worse than stock until mid 44 at which point it advances rapidly - no more big DC for slow ships either.

Game is now in Jan 44 , ongoing battles Mainly around Saipan now - update as promised just been uploaded - should be on one the last - we continue to look at play balance and interest ongoing with a few to another update probably around end 44.
• V2.0c
• Tweaked and slightly modified Furataka and Aoba CLAA conversions to be more realistic.
• Revised some arriving CV air groups to be more realistic for the potential arrival dates – Mid War Japanese CV.
• Corrected Italian SS art to look more realistic (Liuzzi Class).
• Reduced several allied and Japanese TT reloads on CA,CB and BC to allow flak to increase realistically. Cohesion.
• Delayed MG KG007 and 009 Air groups arrival to early 1944. Play balance.
• A few minor AA tweaks downward to some Japanese CV - Cohesion.
• Adjusted a few Japanese DD arrival OOBs to better fit likely arrival times – Correction.
• Akitzuki- Kai, TT reduced to 1 ammo - Cohesion.
• Reduced Japanese starting pilot pools/starting quality and reduced monthly intake/ quality. - Play balance and
cohesion.
• Added some extra build rates for Japanese Light AA Land based MG – as always seem to be in very short supply.
• Pushed back slightly (1 or 2 months) a few Japanese A/C – Play balance.
• A few aircraft tweaks both sides. Continuity.
• Reduced Belt armour of Shinano CVB – Realism.
• HI, Japan Res in now 21 from 20, LI back to 15. Other industry tweaks – Play balance.
• Reduced PP slightly for both sides.
• A few minor base adjustments, AF and Port sizes and starting Forts.
• Tonan Maru TK ,final upgrade MG AA ammo missing –Fixed.
• Tweaked Thai Army and added proper Thai names for units - Chrome.
• Tweaked Collaboration Japanese PI / Malay units – chrome.
• Increased Motorised support on many USA mainland bases – Realism.
• Further tweaked Japanese air group sizes to restrict pilot training.
• Added Heavy FP version of the Rex from 1/44 for the Hybrid BB or land only - Cohesion

Allied sub gets super active and bags 2 AO and an E all in one day.
More action at Saipan - I am thinking about a relief effort as supply is getting low.

Tinian after a tough fight Tinian falls. Where next Saipan - well defended but supply very low - trying to airlift out all non needed guys.

Allied CV reveal themselves- Marcus island looks like the new target.
U 181 gets lucky on two attacks 3 TT hit BB DOY. German TT are noyt as good as Japanese ( ( I guess they were aimed at merchant shipping) but have better durability, better MVR and radar.
Allied bombers over many target but lose over Truck where there is a hot reception

nasty ambush by allies at Ambon trashes a convoy with a whole infantry X . But we have some good surface units close by including my Shimakaze ultra rapid DD force.

21st Feb 44
Allied recon appears over Japan, then a strike of some 80 allied bombers in three waves! From China.
I suspected something was up and changed training to Cap over Hiroshima, in the last couple of days. He started a ton of fires. But we got away with the worst of it so far and he lost maybe 20-30 planes. Moving more AA and more fighters to Western Japan as well as upgrading fighters in the training units.

Looks like allies making for Marcus Island - elsewhere we have identified 3 allied CV groups now active, and they come back to Ambon, narrowly miss getting engaged by my fast DD group by one hex.... grrrrrrrrr

G6 Yari - the best I have for now until the Rita arrives in a few months - now just outclassed by the allied fighters and 6 engines a piece ooooccchhh .
First ships have started the more serious AA Upgrades with many more to follow in June and July. We need it. As we move into 44 the tech evolves much faster then stock - lets see how this starts to play out.

Alas Saipan falls - had hoped for more time t0 get better CV planes and also the big AA upgrades - trouble will come of this for sure.
Meanwhile fuel is running short in Japan, we cannot get enough there.
