Magnifying Glass or Free Trip to the Optometrist?

Battlefront features the power of battalion-level combat in some of this period's most bloody and intense conflicts: Saipan, Market Garden, Novorossisk, and Gazala. Players will have realistic control over their soldiers, with a tactical scale just large enough to make a telling difference in the strategic picture.

I have no problems with seeing the icons etc,

But Off-Topic - I like the looks of the Bulge scenario, I'm really interested in the battle and I hope you finish it soon. Keep us informed please cbelva!

Just to clarify, the display routines in Battlefront are the same as those in our earlier games. I can think of no reason why Battlefront should behave any differently to say Korsun Pocket. An email to support@ssg.com.au will reach us and we can take a close look at the issue.

Thanks for you encouragement. Keep in mind, this not anything close to the entire Ardennes Offensive. It is a small piece of the opening few days of the fighting that took place in and around St Vith. I am about 80% complete including some playtesting. The biggest problem was making some changes in my initial design due to the fact that a couple of features mentioned in the manual never made it into the final release (such as not being able to collect VP for exiting units off the map--page I29 in the manual). Also, I had wanted to program the AI, but the documentation is very sketchy and I could not figure it our well enough to do it justice. I need to make a few changes to the scenario as is, and I play on offereing it to anyone who is interested in playtesting. I am specifically needing help in fine tuning the victory points. The scale of the map is 1 km per hex with 8 hour turns. Therefore you have 2 daylight turns and one night turn per day.

I personally like the scale of Battlefront. I think the biggest things that are hindering the release of additional scenarios are that they need to "finish" the game (ie, add what was left out-not much, but a few items such as mentioned above) and to write a manual explaining the AI (or at least just define the terms and functions of the AI). I would have finished this several months ago, but I got discouraged and let it slip.
