Constructive criticism: I realize it is Rozelle stadium, but the NFL logo makes it league specific, pretty much.
Other than that, I love it! [:)]
Hmmmmmmm, when you forgot to brush ya hair (backtracking to another post complete with photo)
did you forget how to use paintshop too Redwolf, that logo can be removed in about a heart beat. [:'(]
Something's going around... First it was me forgetting that I can copy and move jerseys, now it's this... Who and what is next? [;)]

As for capacity, sure seems hard to beleive it only holds 15,000 people. Surely it has a capacity of at least 20,000 (ie, D1AA or Divison II size schools)?
I think it's the way the fans are put in there...I've noticed that myself in some of the stadiums I've downloaded. While the 2D fans are a nice effect, it just seems like there's not enough of them. I don't know if the fans are too big or if they're spaced too far apart or what. If I feel ambitious in the next few days I may look into it more.
I've been thinking about this quite a bit since it seems there aren't too many stadiums out there capable of holding NFL-size crowds. Glad I'm not the only one who's seen that.
(This was just an observation, not a knock on the stadium designers)
I think its fine,
from a graphics stand point, all that fancy curly lettering is very outdated - "retro" if you will
the new more "team style" font is much more upto date.

What may help is to have the sprites of fans sitting on top of the background texture of fans (I know some of the prepackaged stadiums come with that). Then you get a lot of fans and that multidimensional effect (I think).
Ok, to address some of the above comments....(none of which were taken negatively [:)] by me)
As I stated in a post somewhere on this board, I dont graphically dress up my stadiums for any particular league. All I do is create the stadium. You may notice a few of my stadiums have bleacher walls that say 'SideWall', or I think in Foster Arena, there were walls that said E1 and E2. That meant End 1 and End 2. I do that so I remember which wall is which, and can dress them up as I want. And, whoever may download the stadium, can do the same. Some of my stadiums are just generic with maybe some color. I have absolutely no intention of making a stadium pretty for anyone who may use them. The stadiums I make are completely in the spirit of Maximum Football. I provide a stadium that you the user can make into a stadium in whatever universe you have created. I wont likely, anytime soon, create 'real' stadiums. Way too much work, and I dont care for all the newer cookie cutter coliseums. (Is it apparent im the cranky old man who pines for the old days?).Aside from making stadiums, uniforms and playing MaxFB, I am also teaching myself 3D Modeling, working, raising 3 kids...youngest 4yrs, and dealing with my Star Trek obsession.
As for Rozelle stadium, while it may not be an NFL stadium, it is one of the biggest I have done, so just for fun, I named it Rozelle and put some NFL stuff in it. I fully expect people to change it to their league anyway, like DreamTeams has done.
Thats why I made the 2 side walls the same as the one with the logos on it. Just copy and paste one of the side walls over the logo areas and there ya go. A clean slate for your creative juices(yuck).
I also have all of the above NFL logos, I use the 1960 logo for my NFL/AFL league(at least the NFL part). I just picked the first one I saw.
As for fans, not much I can do there. The more you add to a stadium, the more likely some people may have trouble running it.
David did fans 2 ways. One way is like in the Western Dome. Just a jumbled texture of crowd looking stuff on a flat surface.
Then theres the Eastern Stadium way, a bunch of planes, with a row of fans on it. Then you make a bunch of rows and columns out of those planes. One of my smaller 50yd stadiums holds about 400 fans.
Sizing the planes right, can be a pain. Make them too big and the fans look giant, or too small and the fans are all midgets. I do the best I can to get the fans sorta close to a good size, and then line them all up so it appears there are a lot of people at the game. Best I can do.
If people could stand the Western Dome way of doing fans, it would be really easy for us to make some jumbo-a$$ stadiums. I personally dont like that way, but it would definately make the stadiums more system friendly. And the 300 hours it sometimes seems to take to do fans, could be used to do the actual stadium.
Anyway, just some insight into why I do what I do.
And the corners....if you look at the fans in Eastern Stadium, one of Davids...I dont think mine are that bad either. Not meant to be a crack at David, im just sayin....go into replay and look around Eastern Stadium. The fans are a pain and you can tell when someone said F-it and started taking shortcuts to fill the stands.
And, that is where gamespace crashes on me a lot, when texturing the fans.
Well I for one like your stadiums bro,
I certainly wouldnt wabt you to using a flat fans texture, it looks Crap that way
I always skip a stadium thats done that way, just not good.
You carry on as you are, I've no complaints and I'm on hand if theres anything I can help ya with....... as always.
that reminds me,
I'll be among the big guns soon
this coming weekend will see me having saved enough money to buy that kick ass pc I've been chasing
its took a while to save but at last I'm in a position to make the purchase. [:D][:D][:D][:D] very pleased.
I understand why David used them, more low-end PC friendly, but I wont use those stadiums either.
Me three. I remember that was how FPS Football and Baseball Pro did it. Never liked it.
Love your stadiums, Gary. You make them so easy to customize with all the big mostly generic graphics. Plus they always seem to run great on my system. Local8h does a great job as well. I'm just grateful that we have so many folkes here who care about making stadiums.

I tried this on one stadium and boy what a difference. It is a visual trick more than anything, but I couldn't believe how much fuller the stadium looked!
Yes it may look fuller with the fans on a flat plain
but
it also looks terrible if your graphically minded
I'd much rather have the fans in there own right in the stands than paint them on the stands.
