Every May 1st, you don't think of it as May Day, but as "End of the Zero Bonus Day"  [:D]

You can now name more English Admirals than you can US Presidents.

Your wife left you six weeks ago and you are just getting around to noticing it because you have run out of clean underwear. (As if you have been changing it anyway).[:-]

Not to mention the loss of "consort" [:D]

Those of us in northern climes have a greater appreciation of Spring after enduring harsh winters. Having endured a week that saw 20 inches of snowfall and -13 F temps, the thought hit me: I am looking forward to the arrival of Spring with the same emotion I looked forward to February 1943 when F4U and F6f arrive.

You're going on a trip, the laptop dies and you're browsing the internet (between turns) for a new one so the game (s) won't be interrupted.  I wonder if I'll notice the long layovers once I find the wifi hotspots in the airports.  A 10+ hour flight, I wonder how many batteries I'll need.  [8D]

I never thought that doing an AAR would be so time consuming and difficult.

You remember people's names by associating them with the plane.

A friend at work named his son Nate and all I could think was "Why would anyone name a kid after such a lousy fighter?"[:D]

Yesterday we saw a hang glider coming down from a hill 1/2 mile to a mile away and I was thinking "40mm range, 20mm range?"

You are sitting in a very important job interview and wondering how in the /hell/ Shun and Taiki are going to survive 1945.

You're looking at cars and pass on a Mitsubishi because you've bombed their engine plants so much you'd never get parts.

I second the names comment, I do that all the time, Someone says Sally and I think instantly Ki-21, Med bomber, etc. [:D]

It has kept me up before, thinking about whether I have deployed everthing properly. Suffice to say I take about 2 hours to get through one turn because I am so worried that I missed something that I check everything over twice-- or more.

I think I lost at least 20 morale points when Hyuga got roughed up in my PBEM game. [8|]
