Hi all, thank you very much for your comments.
I have uploaded a new version of the german symbols counters. I have changed soviet cheaper units to fit better to red army early organization, completed the sets and made a few minor modifications.
Also there are now counter sets without headquarter icons, to be employed with the standard game scenarios.
And it´s included another counter set with allied style symbols (both with and without HQ icons).

Thats how looks now a summer 1941 screen. Not so many soviet corp and army icons, but division icons.

[font="times new roman"]I thought your 1st sets were 'edgier'.
These are starting to look more like you just erased the tile and left the symbol.
You also need to move the attack strength and movement point values a little closer. ((appearance.csv) I'm sure you know this already)
The aircraft symbols seem incongruously big in comparison with the land units.
Q: are you developing anything for SOP?
Perhaps a counter set that look hand drawn like the original battle maps??

Thanks Agent S; your map and counters were the first ones I played with and the basis for the variations I have made.
I agree with all your indications;only dont understand the "erased the tile and left the symbol" stuff. Its about the german symbols mod? If so, I have specified the changes I have done, they impact only early war soviet units; and also, as the headquarter units are not standard in the game, I have done sets without them.
And about the allied counters mod; its another very simple mod; no outstanding graphics but a different look. A "historical" hand drawn was my first goal, but I have no succeded. I was uncertain that the two color scheme (red-blue) of german symbols will work in the game, but allied maps as long as I know had no colors at all, so I have added some colors for clarity.

Your above examples are I guess what I was referring to.
Perhaps the nato symbols could appear more 'hand drawn'?
and shifting the unit values to the side of the icon?
I use your map mod exclusively now...except I've reintroduced a hex boundary.
-and I think the fort graphic is a little busy.

Agent S, any chance of making counters similar to the AGW/RGW counter you have as your avatar pic?
