Battle Result screen says Russians and Germans instead of Allies and Germans.

Same vehicle type but farther down the list. Guessing it appears twice because they have different small arms.

When Damp hosts a BO game he keeps getting some kind of Java error that comes and goes. I then don't get the end game data and sit at the MMCC3 screen waiting for an update that seems to be not forthcoming.

When we do it with me hosting it seems to work fine.

I've gotten this error a few times now. Sometimes after playing a few games...sometimes after a lot of games.

It just crashes anyways.

I can't play the map "exit1" because when I go to start the battle I get that "rectangle" error.
Playing at 1600x1280 or whatever.

try it with lower resolution... I think this is a standard Coi/CC3 feature

Do you know what the highest resolution is that doesn't cause this issue?

I can't play the map "exit1" because when I go to start the battle I get that "rectangle" error.

Disabling DirectDraw can sometimes stop this from happening...

The "java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException" means the program is trying to read values into an Array, and the logic is trying to read more values than the Array can handle.

If you can provide some of the 'More Details' it may give a handle on what/where, though only Apiotrow would be able to nail this precisely (unless you have a Java programmer handly and the Source Code).

Will do. The map "inbasly" appears to consistently cause it. I'm on MMCC3 now and just tried to play a game against AI and got that java error when I when "play AI instead of Human"

EDIT:

You can go on the server now and see the game still "hanging" on the map. It's unjoinable but it's there.

I'm getting the Rectangle provided was invalid error when viewing maps.
Maps... 3Patrol..dogg...Beach6.
Playing at 1024x768 & 800x600...Oh & disabling DirectDraw does nothing.

There are also a few maps with the same name eg;( 4 ) Hedge3 ... (3) vb & so on.

(2) of the Bocage3 Maps are the same..all that changes is the VL's...Is that supposed to be like that?

looks like BOTH thaons are the same...thought i would try the other one...Pics shows my games hung...Ummm there are 5 thaons. Change the names please.
All the thaons are the same ...all the one's i have found.

Yes, it is as I suspected... I don't know exactly what it is [8D]

However, it looks an issue when trying to 'set up' a new game, but then that is sort of stating the bleedin' obvious...

I will try and initiate a battle on one of the maps and see if I get the same.

I get the same on inbasly and thaon. Can't try the other one yet as not able to attack it, but I would reckon the same thing would happen.

I suspect it is an issue with the name and case. The maps in question are:

INBasly
Thaon
PontduH

Andrew, can you check the maps.txt file on the Server, and see how they are spelled? If the case is different (i.e. all lower case in the maps.txt file), then I reckon that could be the problem.
