@balto:

Well, if you keep feeding them, they of course will multiply [;)]

Do you equip your fleets with ion weapons? 5000 firepower is a lot. What weapons are you using?

Keep in mind that by design they are resistant to all weapons exception Ion Cannons. Also keep in mind that the release version has a bug that makes them completely immune to Ion Cannons. That combination makes them pretty nasty.

Make sure you've grabbed the public beta patch of 1.7.0.1, which fixes the bug.

Each Fleet had 5000. My techs are at the top of the food chain. As far as Ions, I have one on each ship. I was unsure if the Ion effect was duplicative so I just use one. I am sorry, I just read the Galactopedia, I see the Ion thing v Silvermist. Thanks

oh boy this nasty little baby ruined my game nearly. i had just 2 colonies and found a friendly independant colony. sent a fleet with a colony ship there, got a colony and starbase for free and then guess what?

it enterd my system and destroyed not only my whole fleet but also the starbase and the planets population.

one day is payback day.:)

realy nice concept and a massive upgrade to the former DW monsters which were not that destructive.
