Hi Daniele,

I have a quick question. I just purchased COW. I now have both CMANO and COW icons on my screen. Clicking on either one seems to lead to the same place.

So, does it matter which one that I click on to start the game? I seem to have the same access to options and to the scenarios regardless of which icon that I use to start the game.

Thanks

It doesn't. There is only one main exe file. It does not matter which way you launch it.

Thanks for the response. That is what I figured, but I didn't want to miss anything but potentially doing it the wrong way.

If I buy the Matrix version, will its key also work in Steam?
Yes. You can activate the key on your Steam account.

I hate to be cheap, but how about the other way around? If I buy on Steam can I register it as a game on the Matrix site? It's slightly cheaper on Steam and I have some credit left.

Thank you.

No Communications Disruptions included in this Add on, even though it was promised?? You cheap bastards LMAO

So I'm assuming you have Chains of War, but do you have 'Communications Disruption' enabled in the Editor > Scenario Features + Settings ?

This is related to your post on Facebook, right? : https://www.facebook.com/groups/4002255 ... 579006056/

Alright then, let's have it:

1) Comms jamming

As clearly stated in this article: http://www.warfaresims.com/?p=4454 , "[NOTE: Integrated comms-jamming is a feature reserved for the Professional Edition. However, with a bit of creative work you can use the Lua API to approximate this in the commercial version of Command.]"

Comms jamming is one of the "attack vectors" for disrupting communications, and it is the only one reserved for PE (the other methods like physical incapacitation of comm devices or script-based modelling of cyber attacks etc. are available to CoW users). The effects of communication disruption are available to anyone with the CoW-license.

2) Directional EMP

As clearly stated in our recent article: http://www.warfaresims.com/?p=4479, "the v1.12 update includes omni-directional systems a.k.a “EMP grenade” types (Directional systems like the USAF-developed CHAMP are available on the Professional Edition)."

3) HGVs (Hypersonic Glide Vehicles)

We never promised them for CoW. If you claim we did, show us where.

So, to sum up: We are delivering to CoW owners exactly what we promised. Any claims otherwise are FUD.

Finally bought and unlocked on Steam! I played around with a couple of the scenarios so far, I need to spend a little time preparing to tackle them, which shouldn't be as much of a problem now that I am done with school for good!

Also, I fired up the bonus scenario "Reds". Took a look at what was available to me, and I shouted with joy at what was included at Andersen AFB in Guam:

SR-72A Aurora [Senior Citizen]

[X(]THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!! [&o] I had been itching for an opportunity to try that thing out! For fun, I launched it and sent it to the Sea of Japan at max speed (2900 kts), it only took less than 40 minutes to reach the area [:D]

Chains of War and Arma 3 Jets released in the same week?

And I've put aside money for them already?

And I've barely played computer games for the last month because of a training course?

And now I've got a week off?

I have the same question, I hit the buy button on steam out of reflex :) but really would like to have it on my out-of-steam version.

Mike Cee I have seen comments from you like this on multiple social media channels. We've been very clear what you will get and everything that was promised has been delivered. You have been corrected by numerous players and by us on the false claims you've made.

The idea that we would lie about what is inside the game is quite bizarre. The success of a company and a brand is all about customer loyalty. Anyone who treated their customers with such disdain would be out of business overnight.

I hope you're now happy with the explanation and you can rectify your previous comments.

As a side not please be aware we don't tolerate abuse in any form and if needed will take further action. Criticism is fine, but slander and abuse are not.

Thanks for your understanding.

We used to allow this but unfortunately Steam have removed this feature so we can no longer provide keys for you to register back from Steam to our site. We'd like to be able to so please lobby Steam to add it back! :)

Hm ok, pity. I thought it would just be a matter of me providing proof of purchase and getting a key.

I have just returned to CMANO after a few years away. I have the original Matrix CMANO, which I have just upgraded. I was looking at Command CoW which looks fantastic and had a few questions:
1. Is Command Cow a separate game or is it an add on to CNAMO?
2. Can the CMANO Scenarios be played in Command Cow?
3. Using the Scenario editor in Command Cow can cargo operations be added to CMANO scenarios?
4. The cargo operations look great. Can deployed units be retrieved by the parent craft, ie can land craft retrieve deployed land units?
Your assistance in this matter is appreciated.

1. Yes standalone and DLC for CMANO.
2. Yes assuming you have the original CMANO?
3. Yes cargo functions can be retro programmed into existing scenarios if there updated to the latest DB, May be a long process though if your editing skills and LUA aptitude are as poor as mine?
4. Highly likely you can retreive landed forces although I've never actually done it yet?

Hope this is of some assistance?
