Same in Asia, new cities and even rice fields.

Nice work. Fully agree additional place names makes each hex/ region worth fighting for. Also noticed many of the Chinese place names need changing. Beijing only been named Peking by Westerners etc.
I started adding inland rivers onto the Australian Map, but was unable to see how to change the text formatting.
Maybe the Warplan E, Polder terrain could be tweaked for rice paddies. (Although it looks like you are using bocage)-cool.

Right, I wavered a bit between polder and bocage, but this choice gave a more saturated effect on the map. Game-wise the rice paddies are still plains, not bocage; I simply cloned the latter image to an empty plain space on the terrain PNG. I suspect, consulting a number of different maps, that jungle terrain and rice paddies have the same effects, shown on-map both as jungle. Otherwise vast areas that now is jungle would be the other. I let the added terrain follow open hexes along rivers, not to mess up any game balance by omitting jungle.

I really had problems with the Chinese names. To me they all spell the same, and there's a confusing mixture of old and new, Chinese and Western way of spelling. In the end I just took the first spelling I could find.

I would like to use the mod, but the ship pictures are missing in the game (???).
The units-file, which I downloaded from the dropbox is not containing any ship pictures? Correct?

Checked them and they seem ok. Are you sure you're using the Pacific counters and not those made for Europe? If the latter is the case, there will be problems with some naval units, since Pacific has more counters than Europe.

Peace in our Time is a version that isn't posted anywhere and can be played only PBEM with a number of house rules not written down. The scenario is a result of a long period of playing between my opponent and me. I displayed it only to show the look of a map with a lot of added names on it. If you have someone to play against, I can always give you a link.

I don't have anyone to play against via PBEM, but I find that scenario rather interesting.

I'm curious though, if you are familiar with the editor, because I'm having trouble understanding how to implement movement costs for terrain and I cannot find any reference anywhere in the manual. If I could understand the editor better, I would love to make a Chinese civil war scenario using your unit images. Thanks

Please Uxbridge, have a look at the links in the post at the beginning.
It does not work for me! Terrain, industry has changed, but not the icons for units.

I checked. It seems ok. The major power's air and naval counters should look like this. The ship silhuettes are part of the same image, so they can't really come off. Sure you're not confusing my version with someone else's; I know some modders have ships laid above a half-counter?

My fault. [8|]
I had not changed the counter set in options ...
The counter set has no influence on terrain and industry icons, but obviously on units.
I was not aware of that.

But thanks for your time to respond and the fine art.[:)]

Ah, good we had that settled. And for once the problem wasn't caused by my usual computer clumsiness.

Alvaro: No, I'm not a graphic artist. I work in a photo shop and am a part-time writer. I learned some basic Adobe Illustrator skills while doing maps for my WWII and Napoleonic books. But since early, I'm very graphic sensitive. As a teenager, I never bought LP-records if the cover wasn't to my liking. It's almost like some kind of mild madness, and that's why I'm always onto you about graphics. [:)]

Uxbridge, my friends and I installed your mod. Nice looking units. I see that the map has changed as well. There are a number of hexes where there is SR X2 and what looks like tools crossed. For example, if you look at your 10th post on this thread dated 7/7/2021 there is a screenshot of a hex by Balavia. What does the X2 an indication of? Thanks.

That's a Strategic Resource hex. It multiplies the sum of all your normal (green) Resources by x2/100.

If you have a combined amount of 40 green Resource hexes and two red SR hexes, the calculation would be: 40 x 1.04, giving you 41,6 PP this turn. That's, at least, is how I think it works.
