Not yet. Have you ever had a similar problem with an escorted CL?

Me, I'm a little reluctant to send out unescorted CLs (or much of anything else), unlike many who do successful raids. Explains why I'm overinsured too [8|]

No, to date this has only happened in a single CL versus multiple PT combat.

does anyone know if there are different PT boat "replacement" rates for different nationalities? for example, if i use up the 5 available PT boats for the dutch, does that use up the US PT boat "supply"?

thanks in advance...

FYI, I think the supply requirement for PTs to rearm was downgraded to 3000 supplies and a Port(3). Makes a big difference.
Is this an undocumented new feature? The manual (14.2.1) still states 20,000 supplies (and Sz 3 Port), or an AGP assisting.

Thanks!

The requirement was lowered to 3,000. I think it was done in 1.3. It should be in the readme or what's new for the release.

Just reread the 'new' features updates, found it, thanks!

You'd think they would (ocassionally) update the manual with these features, eh [8|]?

It would be nice, but there are 214 pages, with another 61 for the tutorial. To include an updated PDF for eatch patch would slow the patch release, and make it tougher on those folks with dial up modems.

The likely response, IMO, from a cranky dev would be, "Feel free to work on that yourself."[;)]

That's exactly what they want us to go on believing. I've worked with programmers for 30 years. They can do documentation, they just hate it[;)]

Good programmers don't. After cleaning up someone else's undocumented code you realize just how good a friend up to date docs are.

I agree. Sadly, that's just not typical in corporate America. The programming staff is always being thinned or reassigned 'for maximum efficiency', while documentation languishes at the tail end of product delivery. So perhaps it's not the programmers but the managers they work for who demand 'results' without fully appreciating good long-term delivery.

As Robert Benchley said, "Anyone can do any amount of work provided it isn't the work he's supposed to be doing at the moment." [8|]
